Atlas A (Ian Lelliott 10530) secure the premier title with one game to go after a 5-0 hone win over their B team. Second place New Sussex A lose at home 3-2 to Gardeners A (A dam Squires 10330), but are secure in second spot. Swan B lose 3-2 at home to Old House at Home. meaning they now share 3rd with Gardeners A, and they play each other in the last game. Duke of Wellington (Henry Brooks 14480 and Nigel Senior 16320) won 3-2 at home to New Sussex Hotel B. Swan A 3-2 at Cask Club to lead table by 2 points with the last series to come on 14th April. Old House at Homes` win at the Swan and Atlas Bs` demise mean they are joint second. Cask Club are 4th and the New Suxxes Hotel B are still awaiting their first win. The last series sees the Swan A at home to the Duke of Wellington, Old House at Home are Home to the Cask Club and the Atlas B home to the New Sussex A. In Division two the only result I have is that the West Tarring Club won 5-0 at home to the Romans, and with only three games to go it means the Romans lead by 2 points from West Tarring ( they have arearranged game to play against the Schooner). Depending on the result between the Marine View A and the Henty B, at present the Marine A are two points behind the Tarring Club and the Henty B 1 point further adrift. One result from Division 3 saw the Gardeners B (Loz Hickman 7310) win 5-0 at home to the Schooner and this puts them 6 points clear with three games to go. That could be reduced depending on the result from the Henty A v Marine View B, at the moment the Henty A hold second spot, which they are assured of. Marien View B will finish 3rd no matter what happens and the Schooner are assured of the wooden spoon. Next week sees the Chairmans Shield semi finals and then the following week is the Quiz at the Swan ( coma along and support your league and have some fun at the same time.) |
